Established in 1987, Gillian Radford & Co is a niche legal practice specialising in child care law, family law and housing law. Other services we provide include drafting of wills and probate.
Martine Foley is the firm’s Principal and Proprietor, and is also a member of the Family Panel of the Law Society. Gillian Radford is the firm’s Consultant and a longstanding member of the Children Panel (Adult Party Representative).
The Legal Services Commission granted the firm a franchise in Housing and Family law in 2000 and we work in partnership with the Commission to ensure that no one is denied access to justice simply because they cannot afford it. The firm hold a specialist quality mark from the Commission in Children Law and Family Law.
In housing and family cases, depending on your financial circumstances, you may be eligible for free Legal Help; and depending on the strength of your case, you may then be eligible for public funding (known as Legal Aid). In care proceedings, the parents and any other person with parental responsibility for a child who is the subject of the proceedings, are entitled to free legal aid to be represented whatever the strength of their case or their financial circumstances.
